Sure to Grow cubes are the medium of choice for this commercial hydroponic greenhouse growing hydroponic lettuce. No need to worry about sure to grow or STG cubes affecting your pH, they are sterile and they encourage massive and rapid root growth. Starting Lapham's Living Lettuce, in Mt. Pleasant Michigan was my pet project. I did a lot of homework, research and experiments, before ultimately settling on STG (sure to grow) cubes for the production of my hydroponic living lettuce.
